Water level: keep it shallow

Less water = more control.

SafetySetup

For infants, use shallow water in a baby tub (just enough for washing).

Keep one hand on baby at all times—especially when you reach for soap or rinse cup.

Have everything within arm’s reach before you start (towel, diaper, fresh clothes).

You’re not “overthinking it” — shallow water is a safety win.
